Stalls Required
New traders are always welcomed at Penkridge but we do limit the number of stalls selling similar products in order to help our existing traders. Therefore the best way to get a regular pitch on the market is to sell something a bit different.
We currently have openings on the market for traders selling the following goods:
Haberdashery (Wednesday and Saturday)
Hardware & Kitchen Utensils (Wednesday and Saturday)
Fish (Saturday only)
Fishing supplies (Wednesday and Saturday)
Pictures/Mirrors (Wednesday and Saturday)
Charges and Conditions
Regular Market
There are a few available spaces
for Casual Traders most days,
availability is subject to size of
stall and lines sold.
Charges:
Wednesday
- £2.25 per foot frontage outside
- £2.40 per foot frontage under cover
- Minimum charge £22.50
Saturday
- £2.50 per foot frontage outside
- £2.65 per foot frontage under cover
- Minimum charge £25.00
Please note the following
-
We do not provide stalls or Tarpaulins it is the
traders responsibility to bring their own stall and equipment.
- In order to be considered for a casual stall you
should report between 7.30 and 8.00am to the market manager.
- All traders must have their own Public Liability
Insurance and should ensure that their stall abides by Health and
Safety Regulations.
- The market is open from 9am to 4pm (Saturday) and 9am to 3pm (Wednesday). Traders who stand on the market are required to ensure that their stall is open for trade for the duration of this period.

Charges
Stalls:
- £2.00 per foot frontage pre paid (minimum charge £20)
- £2.50 per foot frontage paid on day (minimum charge £25)

Car Boots:
- £7.00 per Car (Strictly Secondhand goods only)
- Pre booking via application form below
or turn up on the day between 6am and 9am.

- The Farmers Market is run in Conjunction with popular Stall Market
- The market is open from 9am to 4pm. All traders who stand on the market are required to ensure that their stall is open for trade for the duration of this period however if you sell out of produce you may leave early.
