Welcome to Penkridge Market
Penkridge Market is a long established traditional open stall market held twice a week all year round*:
Wednesday 9am - 3pm
Including:
General Auction (10am)
Auction of Plants, Poultry and Eggs (11.30am)
Saturday 9am - 4pm
Bank Holiday Monday 9am - 4pm
The market regularly hosts over 100 stalls. We have many regular traders who have a long history of providing our customers with a wide variety of goods. Every week we also host a number of casual traders bringing constant supply of new and unusual goods so you never know what you might find!
* occasionally we have to close the market due to poor weather conditions so please contact us to ensure that the market is open if the weather is bad. The market may also be closed over the Christmas holiday - dates of any closures will be posted on this site so please check before travelling.
Free Car Park
The main car park is accessed off the A449
We have an overflow car park accessed from Pinfold Lane (just after the railway bridge).
Market Cafe
The Old Deanery Farm Cafe is open every market day and offers a varied menu. It is the perfect place to take a break from the shopping so why not stop off for lunch.
How to Find Us
From South leave M6 at Junction 12. Head west along A5, 1 mile towards Telford. At island junction with A449 turn North towards Penkridge. Penkridge Market is on left hand side immediately before the River Penk.
From North leave M6 at Junction 13. Head South along A449 towards Penkridge. Penkridge Market is on right hand side immediately over the river.
